Do you have money? If you have money they will listen to you about anything. No matter how stupid or illogical.

End the war? No
Stop domestic spying? No
Control banks? Hell no.
Health care? Go fuck yourself.
Indict, try, convict, imprison? Sheeeeeeit!

4. You have the correct answer! |

They're not much better than the Bush crooks. The only guy in the Senate not taking bribes is probably Bernie Sanders, an independent.

5. They haven't listened to us in years. I'm not blaming all the Democrats but |
|
I really hope Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid get replaced by more progressive Democrats. I believe more than anyone they have been responsible for refusing to bring change to the table.

7. What I wrote to Whitehouse.gov |

I fought long and hard for you during your election campaign, taking nights and weekends, and sometimes taking work days off to canvass for you, all in the hope of the change that you promised. I am deeply disappointed in what seems to be a spineless stance on heathcare reform from you and congressional democrats. We gave you the perfect setup for changing to the very system that you have previously stated to wanting yourself, only to watch you guys allow Republicans and the Insurance Industry to crush it, and easily at that.
I am here to tell you Mr. President, that if there is no viable public option in the bill that you sign off on, I will not vote for you in 2012. This is just too much to swallow.
Hoping you do the right thing, VC

I'm pissed and tired of hearing excuses. No health care, no votes! I'll stay home or vote for anyone that isn't right wing or a Democrat.

in their face at a fundraiser. Otherwise, forget it.
True story. My brother was working as a claims rep for a homeowners' ins. company and was called out to settle a claim on behalf of a man who was a bigwig Dem fundraising kingpin. Brother noticed and commented on pics of this guy with Clinton prominently displayed in his living room. The man was holding a fundraiser later that week at his home for Gray Davis who was then running for CA gov, and asked my brother if he'd like to come. Brother thought it would be interesting and said ok. On the appointed day my brother showed up and was watching the monied class mingling. Davis arrived with a big entourage, and there was a lot of glad-handing. Finally, he spots an unfamiliar face - my brother - and walks over. No small talk at all. Two Questions: Who are you and how much are you contributing? When my brother said he was merely a guest of the host who'd be supporting Davis with his vote, Davis turned on his heels and walked away without so much as a phony "nice to have met you." It's all about the money. If you aren't throwing it at them, you're unworthy of their attention.

They don't give a shit about you.
At least Republicans are HONEST about the ways in which they will be fucking you over during their terms. Democrats feel compelled to lie about how they will be fucking you over during their terms.
