I have to take 5-6 lortabs a day for chronic pain left from several surgeries...

My scrip says I can take two at a time but if I do, I can't keep them down...so I have to take 1 and 1/2 at a time...

if he had nothing but pills, he would have been so sick

ETA: He could have thrown up but not in time to help him. He was pretty skinny.

5. not necessarily.
i take 4-7 methadone tablets every day, plus several vicoprofen. i've been doing so for over 10 years due to chronic pain, and it's never made me nauseous. when the pain is bad, i'll take 40mg of methadone, two vicoprofens, and a couple flexerils, all at once- and i do just fine.

7. Drugs and doses are very individual
Some people puke their guts out on one drug but can take others with no problem. Some people puke everything. A few people can tolerate all of it.

If he had a stash hidden somewhere, he might easily have OD'd on it without puking, although I can guarantee you that just about everybody who goes into cardiac arrest pukes at some point during CPR.

Everyone who knew him described him as "frail." In other words, he was a walking time bomb who had put his body through more than it could handle.

May he rest in peace.

Thanks for the expertise, Dr. Quincy M.D.

9. Some people are adversely sensitive to opiates and others are not.
I can't take anything opiate-based or I throw up; found that out years ago when I tried to take codeine after having wisdom teeth removed. MJ probably had no sensitivity and never had a problem ingesting large amounts. Just like Rush Limbaugh never had a problem taking 20-30 oxycontins daily.

10. If he had been on pills for years...his body could just be adapted to it.
Though it was interesting on the 911 call when they were asking the guy if they were doing CPR and the guy on the phone said they were "pumping". I realize when doing CPR that you are "pumping" the chest but could they have been trying to pump his stomach? Especially after the nanny said she had to pump his stomach numerous times...

11. Coroner: "Shocking" Jackson Autopsy Report Is Bogus
"The Shock Findings of the Michael Jackson Autopsy," screams the headline.

"No food just pills in his stomach, bald, bruised, his ribs broken by CPR, 4 needle wounds near his heart..." blares the subhead.

Rubbish, says the coroner.

Hours after London's Sun tabloid claimed that it had obtained a leaked copy of the currently sealed Jackson autopsy, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office insists the supposed big scoop simply isn't.
