Should Obama have withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan by now?

We are now six months into his presidency - should we be out by now?

Or to put it another way does Obama own those wars now?

2. I believe several months ago Obama came up with a timetable to withdrawl combat troops by 8/10

and just today (or yesterday?) troops left the major cities. I doubt we would have had either of these things under McCain. As for Afghanistan if you may recall Obama has always said a bigger effort needed to be made there--one of the things I disagree with him about.

...But U.S. combat troops withdrew from the last of Iraq’s cities and towns a couple of days ago.

But he does own Afghanistan in my opinion.
