I finally saw "W." tonight....
And on Dumbya's birthday. Sorry, I had to grab it from work when I finally saw it on the shelf....

I can see why a typical DUer would want to wait years to see this movie--or maybe even not ever. It was a painful experience to relive America's eight-year nightmare in just 129 minutes.

I wish they would have also showed how Dumbya ate cake while New Orleans drowned.

The one good thing I got from this film: I have an even deeper appreciation now for President Obama! :patriot:

1. I wouldn't waste a rental on that......
and mostly for the same reason you posted of not wanting to relive the last 8 years. Maybe if they make another movie about how truly corrupt and evil the Bush regime really was I might tune in.

5. But that's a couple hours out of
you life you'll never get back.

Just think of the better uses you might have made of that time.

3. I thought it was an exceptional movie, but not very accurate about BushCo.
It was well-made, had some decent political discussion, and was a great character study. I just don't believe the real people were much like the characters.

4. I thought it was a decent movie.
It certainly made Dubya out to be the spoiled, entitled little brat he is--and I did enjoy Karl Rove depicted as the scummy, slimy little toad who hides underneath open staircases and tries to lick people's shoes when they go up and down.

6. I wanted to see Josh Brolin as w
and Richard Dryfuss as cheenee. Neither actor disappointed. I felt the story was kind of light weight.

cheeney in the War room laying out his "empire" and explaining "A REAL ONE, nobody will ever fuck with us again!" Was priceless.
