JEB jockeys for position...on the outside it's MooseMom, followed by JEB, with Moose Mom...

Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor and brother of President George W. Bush who's been mentioned as a prospective presidential candidate in 2012, slams the Obama administration and criticizes the Republican party's nostalgia, in an interview in the upcoming August issue of Esquire magazine.

Bush takes aim at Obama's economic policies, calling the president "a collectivist" who believes that "through collective action, through government, you can solve more problems... The debt that will be created in his four years as president will exceed the debt that was created by all presidents before him."

He also critiques the administration's health care reform proposals, stating "Under Obama, we're going to create a system that's not focused on quality; it's focused on access to care... We're like gerbils running in place."

And he dismisses the president's popularity, saying "First of all, who cares?" before claiming that Obama's popularity is less than Bush's brother's was at the beginning of his first term.

3. Jeb should STFU - Florida is still suffering from the residuals of his policies
The Jeb controlled Florida Legislature resists everything that a centrist like Crist wants to do to try to alleviate things. Don't get me wrong - I want Crist out of Florida politics - but I also want Jeb and his cronies completely out of politics, state and federal, forever.

Before anybody thinks about running Jeb for national office, they should take a careful look at the condition of the Florida economy and government. If the country had done the same with Texas, maybe Jeb's brother would not have gotten himself appointed - there was plenty of warning what kind of executive Shrub was - and Jeb is even worse!

8. Yes, how dare that Obama fellow devise a health care plan
that's focused on access to care first.

9. Jeb isn't positioning himself any more than, say, Karl Rove is
He knows that he has no chance as long as his brother is so hated, i.e. for the next century or two. He's just offering his opinions.
