JEB Bush.. Warming Up For 2012?
http://www.esquire.com/features/jeb-bush-interview-0809

(snip)
JEB, only fifty-six, the smarter Bush boy, a good governor, with a great many people expecting that he's not yet finished, but after passing on the chance to run for Mel Martinez's Senate seat earlier this year, there's not an obvious path back to power for him. And his party is a shambles.

Bush laughs when he hears that Joe the Plumber briefed House Republicans on Gaza.

I think it's okay to have a deeper understanding of things. I think it's okay to talk in three-syllable words. The world we're living in is incredibly complex. And simplifying things to the point where you're misunderstanding where we are as a nation isn't going to help people overcome their fears or give them hope that they can achieve great things. I don't get inspired by shameless populism.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JEB doesn't like "shameless populism". He likes good old-fashioned corruption and cronyism .... now you're 'talkin...

33. With the way Obama and the Democratic Congress has been going...
They are begging for America to let the BFEE to waltz back in and take over again.

Don't think it can't happen? If the Democratic Congress continues to favor Corporate America over the People, you will have a wake up call in 2010. By 2012, the Democrats and President Obama will be wondering why people vote against their ALLEGED best interests again, as we come to realize BushCo. & Republicans, Inc. Part II.

When President Obama and the Democratic Congress give Corporate America and the Wealthy Elite everything they want anyway, while the People are forced to accept chump change token efforts, they will have a rude awakening about how fast the Republican Party and Bush Family can come back to reclaim their power.

Just like it wasn't a Clinton in 2008.

6. The Shadow Govt would have to stage quite a PSYOP to get him installed
...not that the populace would revolt or, you know, actually do anything to protest another Bush...but initially I suspect it would be a tough sell for the Right, and their very long list of enablers/co-conspirators, to effectively steal yet another "election" for yet another Bush fascist absent a major, catastrophic PSYOP to get The People to (hopefully, from their perspective) embrace the Right in greater numbers as a reaction to fear i.e. 9/11

Edited on Wed Jul-08-09 10:46 AM by TWiley
dropping out of politics was a good move. this way, he can become anything because there is no recent track record. Kind of sounds like other republicans dropping out of public scrutiny with the possibility of political resurection. Palin obviously comes to mind

22. That's correct. No collusion whatsoever. Only "mistakes, accidents and co incidents."
Time to "look ahead" and drop all of that crazy "conspiracy" nonsense ... so we don't actually have to do anything that might make us and others slightly uncomfortable.

15. Decades worth of corruption & malfeasance doesn't = incompetence
My position is that people DO realize just how corrupt that family and their ilk are, but really don't care so long as it doesn't interrupt the preferred superficiality, mindless careerism, consumerism, sports worship, American Idol, etc. That entire poisonous swamp of evil shit that passes for the good, just, right, normal, daily round of life.

25. My nightmare lives.
My local radio wingnut talk show host says that Jeb Crow Shrub and NO BUSH will make it because shrub tarnished the brand so much.

I've seen too much in my life to say never, and this CREEP creeps me out.

I don't know why politicians make a show of speaking a few Spanish words, since anybody sophisticated enough to be voting in the U.S. is mainly an English speaker. The Hispanics who are likely to vote Rethug are sell-outs and a few steps removed from their Spanish language, for starters. But still, Shrub's broken Spanish won him the Servant vote. Think what Jeb Crow Shrub's beautiful Spanish and Mexican-American wife will do.

The B.F.E.E is ALL that the Rethug Party has. It's my nightmare.

30. Hi
I'm Jeb Bush the Bush who isn't a total fucking moron. I'm more like my Dad. Remember him, he wasn't a complete and total disaster as President. So when you think about me running for President, think about the affable old guy who pals around with Clinton. Not the guy who almost destroyed the country.
Thank you,
JB
