Palin Will Never Get The R Nomination in 2012
It will not happen. The other R candidates will absolutely rip her apart. She's already damaged goods and will be even more damaged by 2012.

In fact, if even one of these ethics investigations stick, she won't enter the contest.

You heard it here first.

1. Am I the only one tired of this board's obsession with Palin?
If she's not getting the nomination, she's completely irrelevant.... so let it be.

8. From the day McCain picked her, DU has been obsessed about her.
The day after Obama's great acceptance speech at the convention Palin posts and threads here completely overwhelmed that speech. We hear over and over here the complaints about the MSM and we would expect such actions from the MSM about Palin, but DUers like sheeple follow right along. You can see the same stuff about Palin posted here the same things posted over and over as if they are some kind of profound and original thoughts.

15. You've been on DU for 6 days and are already complaining?
Welcome to DU. When something like this happens (Palin being a twit publicly), we talk about it. If you have an issue with that, perhaps you should avoid DU for a few more days.

Thank you for your concern.

3. The Base might nominate her but the general public will not.
Sort of a repeat of the whole specter ordeal going on now but on a national scale. If the republicans are smart they will squash any chance of her running.

it will most certainly be quite enjoyable for us to sit back and watch as the party tears itself apart.

7. I think you're right, but...
Don't forget that the GOP ran and "won" with George W.

For that reason alone, I don't want Palin to be the candidate. Too frightening to think of what would happen if she happened to get to the white house.

up the GOP base and take the limelight away from Obama a bit. I'm really sorry she resigned as gov for this reason alone. Remember she is very good on the stump and if she doesn't run for Pres she will not have to do any interviews where her lack of debth will show. She gets to play to her strengths if she just travels the country on a three year book tour.

26. I disagree...she'll be their sacrificial lamb...and that's what she wants
They know they can't win in 2012. The party is in shambles and isn't going to just come together overnight.

When Palin talked to the other big Repube dudes, Cheney, Guiliani, etc. she was asking if they would support her to run in 2012. They all said yes. She'll make herself even more famous and get even more money and won't have to actually be President. It's a win/win/win/win/win for everyone.
