If this were a discussion about genetic disorders, then the endogamy of an ethnicity would be relevant to the value of the study. But if the study has to do with the effects of marriage on alzheimers? Doesn't make any sense at all (and neither does the idea that being married affects alzheimers).

I always hate clips that are pulled out of their context. It makes it difficult to assess what's being said.

While the point he seems to be trying to make doesn't make sense to me, he doesn't seem to be making a judgement about the relative value of inter-ethnic breeding versus intra-ethnic breeding.

Sweden has a large immigrant population. It even attempts to integrate the invandrare (lit. "invaders"!) into Swedish society, for instance by making sure they all get to learn Swedish -- quite the contrast to cities here where the few public ESL classes are always oversubscribed, and private language institutes routinely advertise "Learn English!" on the NYC subways.
