It seems that their are less screaming Freepers than there used to be. Is Politico the "sophisticated" new source for a more subtle but constant pushing of the rightwing agenda?

2. They're slick,
very slick. A lot of people here used to quote them, just buying their reporting, before everyone realized exactly who and what they are.

Slick. Gotta watch them....................

3. Rational? Not to me. But they've always had their r/w twist. Somehow
they've gained credibility. Beats me. I pretty much refuse to cite them except when they're only reporting facts vs. their 'interpretation'.

6. They suddenly "hired" quite a few "professional" journos
very odd for an upstart "blogosphere" outfit... and since these "reporters" were on the roll-o-dexes of the "msm" folks on tv, they were just invited on, with their new afiliation...smooth transition..

8. Yup. Jim Vander Hai (sp?) and Jonathan Allen (who I think
is a box of rocks) started this up-I think they both worked for the WaPo previously. Voila'! Instant credibility. :eyes: I have pretty much the same opinion of the WaPo with some exceptions.

9. They just started to get on my nerves a few weeks ago....
They seem to be replacing the ultra loud rightwing radio personalities that used to be the "balance" on MSNBC. They are a smarmy crew.
