Greta says Lettermen has an obsession with Palin.
Or maybe he's just a jerk. They will discuss it coming up on her show.

1. Letterman will just lean on her as long as it's funny. .
I expect it will be funny for a while yet, especially if she continues to cavort in front of the media like that.....

and attracting attention. I wish she'd just go back to Wasilla and take care of her kids and disappear from our awareness for a while, but I think she loves the spotlight too much to quit.

Was Michael Jackson getting too much attention? She had to choose THIS time to resign? She's so obvious.

2. Doesn't Greta's husband have something going on with Sarah?
I mean isn't he helping with her campaign? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

16. No, I think you're right. I was just about to point that out
Greta may have a little conflict of interest and maybe should leave reporting on Palin to some one who doesn't, but we're talking about Fox, so I guess that would be a challenge.

John Coale, Greta Van Susteren's Husband, Advising Sarah Palin

Coale, in an interview with the Fix, described himself simply as a "friend" of the Alaska governor but acknowledged that he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign

46. Must be nice to turn in your 2 or 3 weeks notice and go straight to vacation
The woman's work ethic should be enough to disqualify her from future candidacy but her public will continue to buy her anti-elite tripe as long as she wants to sell it.

I would recommend that her public consider that the "founding fathers" and early leaders of the US were the elites of their time before they put too much faith in "just plain folks" Palin as being qualified for higher office.

11. She's one of the bench warmers at faux
But she wants to be on the field with the big guys like Beck and Oreilly so she glommed onto this Palin thing as her ticket to big name status within the organization.

Unfortunately, it's obvious she lacks what it takes, whatever the fuck that is, to draw attention to herself and keep it there.

Palin will use her as long as it benefits Palin. Then drop her like a bad habit.

Greta unfortunately is not up to playing in the same league with Palin.

Even if she's (allegedly) screwing Tadd.

or anything on that network.

And I do not judge people by their looks.

But, when I see Greta, I keep thinking that she was hit squarely in the face with a shovel.

And that's just distracting.

Plus, she whines.................

That's it. That's her journalism experience before she joined Faux.

19. Right, and she did it on CNN
back then. She went over to Fox and then had the plastic surgery etc. Fox News would never have made it if it hadn't been for the OJ trial. That is what made them and most of their 'news' reporters. The rest came from Freeperville, Hannity eg.

20. I thought it back when I knew she and McSame were going to lose the election,
and I see it coming closer than ever now, but Palin will become a career conservative cable commentator soon after her political career is over, and I think she's considering it to be over July 26th. The "higher calling" she received will not be in another political office; it's in mass media.

31. Consider the source.
Van Susteren's disgraced herself as a Palin promoter. She's about as abject as John Ziegler.

It would be amusing if Palin took a job at Fox and poached Van Susteren's ten o'clock spot. She's one person who could beat out Megyn Kelly, who seems to be angling for that time slot.

42. It's not Dave's fault if the woman is comedy gold.
If she had any sort of gravitas, if her moronic ramblings weren't so laughable, if she didn't expose herself for the idiot she is every time she opens her mouth, he wouldn't be able to use her the way he he does. And if the redneck dumb asses of the Republican base had sense enough to see her for what she is she would go away and this would all fade into just an embarrassing memory.
