Greenpeace-Day Two on the Coal Occupation in Italy

We're now into day two in Italy and the paint brushes are out. Emily is one of six climbers on the new coal power station at Civitaecchia and they are painting ‘G8 stop this' on one of the two domes that holds the coal. This power station is in the final stages of construction and is the first coal plant in Italy in 20 years.

Emily is one of the Kingsnorth Six who climbed and painted Kingsnorth coal-fired power station and was acquitted of criminal damage in defence of the climate last year.
