This is the most ignorant piece of swill I have received in awhile--so I thought I would pass it |

along. :puke: You better read this. We are headed this way if Obama is not stopped. Note the Daschle statement. Note also that he and all other Congressmen are exempt from this arrangement.

1. If memory serves Ms. Richardson was walking and talking for an hour after her fall, |
|
took ill and went to a nearby hospital.....then transferred to ICU at a larger hospital.
It seems the ski slopes she was on wasn't in a downtown area......usually aren't.

3. Not only that but she also refused the initial care |
|
It was not until she was symptomatic (worse possible scenario) that she sought help.

5. And in 20... No 10 years after we would have health care like Canada or the U.K. |
|
The people passing this around would be the very first in line DEMANDING their God given RIGHT to Government Health Care. Just like these pigs demand their Social Security and Medicare now.
Oh Hell, it probably wouldn't even take them a few years to think of it as their God given RIGHT.

7. 1st example is absolute bullshit - even in THIS country, antibiotics |
|
cost only pennies. There is no way I can believe that any cost analysis would determine that this man's life was not worth $2. It would have been the first, simplest treatment. What killed him was probably just the fact that he was 77 and undergoing surgery, nothing more.

12. Why deal with facts when you can just make up shit? |
|
It's not as if the foaming-at-the-mouth FReepers know how to fact-check or remember anything that doesn't jibe with their world view for more than thirty seconds.

It's conceivable that Mr. Fairclough had an incompetent doctor. They exist everywhere. But it seems more likely that this story is imaginary - it would have been all over the news here.
It is NOT true that people over 59 can't have heart operations on the NHS in England! I know several older people who have had them.
There actually is some deleterious influence on the NHS by Thatcherite cost-cutters - just as there is a deleterious influence on American health-care, even of insured people, by cost-cutting insurance companies. But this letter is just a pack of blatant lies!!!
