I know that whining about the liberal media is now a third rail of Republican politics. However, who owns the "liberal media"? More precisely, what is the current extent of Rupert Murdoch's media empire? Or, should I ask what is it that he does he not own or control?

I know he owns Fox News, of course, but what else has he acquired? I read that he is looking into buying twitter.
