How are you able to Unrecommend when you havent recommended in the first place? |
|
Either call it something else ( like "thumbs down") or make "Unrecommend " available only to those who are have made a recommendation...

6. it is a nice visual reflection that some posts are so bad everyone is unrecommending |
|
even if some of their little henchmen are helping to falsely prop it up with recommendations. I love it.

3. I guess it's unrec because it removes a rec whether you posted it or not. |

Sure is a lot of debate about this new feature.
Does this happen any time there is a change on here? Not flaming = just curious. It's not always easy to deal with change.

Or the Antichrist never having been the Christ.

7. You're "unrecommending" ("undoing" another's recommendation). |
|
I see your point, but people frequently "undo" the actions of others.

There should be a recommend an unrecommend. But if you want to unrecommend a recommended unrecommend, there should be an option for that too. Then again, if you want to recommend an recommended unrecommended recommend, you can unrecommend the recommeneded unrecommendable recommend unrecommend.
There should also be an option for "meh" for if you don't really care either way. Then we can have a recommend the meh and an unrecommend the meh and a recommend a unrecommendable meh for a recommended recommend.
Just a thought....
