Health care overhaul bill suffers another setback (Why do the Blue Dogs hate America?)

WASHINGTON – The drive to remake the nation's health care system suffered yet another setback in Congress on Thursday when a pivotal group of House Democrats rebelled against leadership-backed legislation taking shape and sought additional time to make changes.

"We need to slow down and do it right," Rep. Mike Ross, D-Ark., said outside a meeting of the Blue Dog Coalition, a group of 52 moderate to conservative Democrats. "It needs to do a much better job of cost containment" within the health care system, he added.

5. (D- Corporate) doesn't help us one bit.
We need more than 60 to overcome.

6. Main point of article is about some House Dems rebelling. Not Senators rebelling.

7. Plenty of (D-Corporate) in the hizzy too.
But that was a misstatement on my part, so thanks for the correction.

It makes me angry because it's the same "labeling" shit the wingers use - clear skies, healthy forests, compassionate conservative, family values, verified voting... and people fall for it.

Being a (D) corporate tool is not compatible with Democratic party values by any stretch of the imagination, so my argument is the same: they either need to go, or we've got to replace enough (R)s with (D-Teh Peoples) to over-ride the (D/R-Corporate) vote.

I couldn't agree more! Thats awesome.

Here is some advice. Lets slow way down, take the current draft, find a toilet, fireplace, or trash can, then insert it.

Take some time and draft a real universal health bill the covers everyone and really controls costs. In otherwords: single-payer

3. "cost containment"
Here's your cost containment, Mike: Cover everybody under Single Payer. The system is cheaper and simplified, since everybody covered. No complicated questions about which insurer covers what, or who. One Payer, one set of standard questions, one database. It's cheaper, since all the current complexity of multiple insurers and multiple plans goes away. It's also cheaper because everybody is in the same, giant pool.

You dumb fuck.
