Does anyone here remember when it was CNN and "networks" policy to rotate reporters who covered previous administrations when a new President came into office?
Suzanne Malveau never did a report on Bush that didn't make him look good. Her mildest of criticisms were always followed by some cute tidbit about him that canceled out the criticism. I don't watch CNN that often so was very surprised to see her there smiling and chortling about Obama meeting resistance on his Climate change proposals and other snarky comments that I won't repeat. It was truly disgusting, along with MSNBC's little "Obama stumbles" with the photo of him tripping slightly as if this was the summation of his whole trip.
The long knives are out. Health Care and Climate Change and the "PTB" are now waiting for the first cut.
It boxes us Dems out here into a corner. If we have issues with some of Obama's direction then we give food to the Repugs to use against him. If we don't speak up then how can we call ourselves involved Democrats? We Progressives are between a rock and hard place...but we need to shout out loudly when reporters who covered a former President (where after 8 years there has to be much loyalty) are allowed to then cover a new President and abuse their position.
Let CNN know if you had a problem with Malveau's reporting:
