Check this article from the "On Faith" section of the WaPo out. Then read the disgusting responses to it. I shudder to think what kind of mail and phone messages Ms. Quinn is getting privately from the Palinistas.

1. That side always does this. As if Sally did the stuff.

Before you get to the meat of the subject you have to fight about the one writing the story. We see this all the time with 'right wing' of that party. Parlin knows how it works Iam sure. She works it well.

2. There's racist and mysoginist stuff. Sarah is their symbol, and they're angry.

They don't know what she says or means, and they don't evaluate what she does. She is simply their symbol and someone has insulted their symbol, and they're lashing out. Period. No analysis of ideas or ideology. NO dealing with the contradictions that palin is, or support of her own ideas.

She is their symbol, partly because she's female, partly because she's beautiful, but mostly, because she's famous.

They worship at the altar of smoke and mirrors. These people cannot think. Palin scoffs at libruls, and that's all they need to know.
