Gingrich Advocates Covert Ops on Iran's Oil to Bring Down Regime

US politician urges Iran 'sabotage'

The former speaker of the US House of Representatives has said that the US should "sabotage" Iran's oil and gas infrastructure as part of its efforts to bring down the government.

In an interview with Al Jazeera's Avi Lewis for the Fault Lines programme, Republican Newt Gingrich said targeting Iran's refinery would spark an economic crisis that would destabilise the government in Tehran.

He said the US should "use covert operations … to create a gasoline-led crisis to try and replace the regime".

"I think we have a vested interest, the world has a vested interest, in a responsible Iranian government, just as we have a vested interest in a responsible North Korean government," he said.

Skulking in to serve her divorce papers while she was recovering from an operation?

No way. I'm certain the usual putrid Republicon Family Pharisee Values would lead in this case -- as usual -- only to more Republicon FAIL, which America needs like a load in the pants.

Say it real fast and maybe it will be the truth instead of the simple facts that we can't stop fucking around with other countries and have been doing so without caution for the last 60 years (and more).

What a perfect example of why this man should never be anywhere near power.

7. As Usual, Gnewt Speaks Out Of His Ass...
Not long ago there was a severe fuel shortage in Iran, of all places...one of the many reasons leading to Ahmajenjahd's unpopularity. As usual, Gnewt spews talking poitns without from Planet rushpublican...totally void of any reality. BTW...Gnewt, you gonna lead the raid? Send your kids to do the deed? Typical asshattery that gets published around the world, especially in the Middle East and put our diplomats and troops in greater peril.

Hey Gnewt...most of us have only one interest...bringing our troops home safely from the boooooosh wars for profit. Why is it I can't wait for another Gingrich affair to be revealed so this dirt bag goes into hiding 5 years or so?

8. Newt is a typical representative of...
...the cowardly leadership so prevalent in the GOP. He has neither a military background nor experience, save for the toy soldiers he played with as a kid, and that's exactly where he gets his knowledge (well, that and the movie "Red Dawn"). He'll talk the talk and behave like some sort of fucking supersonic field marshall...just as long as others do the actual dying. I sure wish this pud would shut his stinking gob.
