Does Anyone Use FileZilla or PageBreeze? |
|
I am thinking about downloading either FileZilla or PageBreeze for updating my website. Can someone who has one or the other, or both, tell me which one is the best, and which one is easier to use. I have Dreamweaver, are they similar to that, if you know.
And if you have FileZilla or PageBreeze would you be willing to e-mail me a basic step by step tutorial on how to use it, and help me if I need it. And if someone knows of a free website management program that works just like Dreamweaver can you tell me what it is.
And help would be appreciated.

1. I've used FileZilla in conjunction with DreamWeaver. |
|
Worked well for me.
I've never used PageBreeze.

What exactly do you mean in conjunction with Dreamweaver, do you need another progam with FileZilla to use it. I'm looking to use one program on a different computer, that does not have Dreamweaver on it.
Can you e-mail me with more details.

4. As dionysus says below, FileZilla is just an FTP client. |

It doesn't build web pages.
I used FileZilla to upload content to a page built with DreamWeaver.

you'll need an app like dreamweaver to write your content, and use filezilla to move the files to your server.

Do you know of a free website management program that works like Dreamweaver. One that has the ability to build the website and then FTP the files to the server, all in one program.
And if not, do you know of a real cheap website management program that I could buy that works like Dreamweaver.

7. I use Filezilla every day and I love it. However, |
|
I hard-code and do not use a WYSIWYG editor. It's been so long since I used a WYSIWYG editor that I wouldn't even know which one to recommend.

I downloaded kompozer and when I try to install it with the kompozer.exe file it says the js3250.dll file is missing, when i can see it in the file list. Do you know how I fix the problem.
Should I try downloading it again.
