We've got a Greatest Threads forum, now we need a Worst Threads forum.

To logically balance things out that is. How about most and least interesting? How about most and least controversial buttons? How about a forum devoted to showing only posts that have been moved by moderators? That one could have an Agree and Disagree with move buttons. How about Conformist and Nonconformist buttons? How about a "Clique member" button vs. "Outcast" button?

Gee, I could go on all day...

2. I would prefer "Hottest Topics"

I'd like a hottest topics page--one that ranks threads by the highest sum of recommends and unrecommended. That would display controversy and discussion, ideas that push people's buttons, the ones that are worthy of discussion.

Such a page would make me completely happy (if there were a nice little icon to it at the top of the forum) and then the Greatest Page could be a nice, happy liberal news feed (as it is, evidently, intended to be).

4. Your idea is great!

In theory at least. The subjects that bring the group to turmoil may be the most interesting of all. I'm not sure that would go over that well here though. It seems that whenever anyone disagrees with anything Obama does for instance, they are either a Freeper or a whiner. That lead me to believe that that is the sort of subject that would continually pop up. It's worth a go though. Yeah.
