"Conservative" Dems are more dangerous than republicans
Why?

Because we cannot count on them.

I am not advocating "herd mentality", but when they stand in the way of what the majority of people voted for, in November, how are they "different" from the republicans?

Republicans, for all their odious ideas, are united. Their caucus has a way of making them see that their strength is in sticking together.

Our caucus must spend too much time, "recognizing" all the differences, and spending too little time pointing out the commonality.

It's ironic too, because democrats have always been affiliated with labor unions. Labor unions are ALL about a united front. Each worker, negotiating separately with bosses is not the way to get benefits for all workers.

PEOPLE WANT A NATIONAL HEALTH CARE PLAN. They want it YESTERDAY, and they will "pay" what it costs.

We have "tried" the insurance/HMO plan, and it SUCKS.

It's time for congresspeople and senators to quit the circular spin, and the pretense that they don't "know" what their constituents really want..and that "they" know what's best for us all (lobbyists stuffing money into legislators' pockets).

If they all truly "don't know" what we all want, then they just need a national referendum, so we can tell them exactly what we want, and why we sent them to congress.

It will cost what it costs, and if it means we cannot afford wars anymore, then so be it..

1. Anyone who wants to deny healthcare to those who need it is evil

Some of them admit to being evil by declaring themselves to be republicans.

Others try to hide it.

9. The problem with Reid is...
There's too many Democrats (voters) who don't 'get' what a Senate Majority Leader is supposed to do anymore. So they're not ripping him a new rear end.

They're either new to politics, or they've taken to buying the media/GOP memes regarding Democrats in power. It's insane and FRUSTRATING as hell!

The man has a job to do, and if he can't do he should step down.

5. Just a minor technical point here....
You really should change the airquotes to Conservative "Dems".

Because they are Conservative. Or at least the corporatist treasonous shit that passes for conservatism these days.

But they are "Democrats" in name only.

6. Even smaller technical point...
I don't think they're airquotes unless someone makes them with their hands in the air.

Those were just quotes.
