10. He is well educated but so are a lot of people |
|
That said, education does not give you good old fashioned home training and kindness.
He appears to have great home training and manners.

But I'm smart enough to not be a fool. Let's not mistake ourselves - Barack is our guy, but Washington is a zero-sum place. You have to constantly make yourself heard. The squeaky wheel, after all...

smarter than I am. Smarter than boosh by light years tho. I'm not too happy with some of his bi partisan appointments. Sorry, can't recommend but won't unrecommend either.

14. I don't know if he's smarter than I am, but I'm very certain |
|
that he knows one helluva lot more about the intricacies of running a country than I do. I'm equally sure I know more about mineralogy than he does, and that I could show him lots of shortcuts in Microsoft Word he doesn't know.
I'm glad he's in the White House and not me, and especially not John McCain.

and I am going to also say he has to play political chess too. At least, I hope that is what he is doing.

16. Republicans don't play chess. |
|
They pick their pieces and go home. Democrats "compromise". I guess they compromise with themselves since Republicans don't.

21. Well... I do think President Obama is smarter then me. |
|
I also think he knows what he is doing. So far, I agree with some of the things he has done, disagree with some others and for the rest, those are things I don't know what the right answer is so I don't know if I agree... I'm working on educating myself so I can decide.
Sorry but... I am going to pass on giving a rec though I won't un-rec either :D

In Quantum Physics, Relativity, Differential Equations, Economics and Concert Music I'm pretty sure I have him beat.
I wouldn't want to debate him on Constitutional Law, International law or History, though.

But that doesn't mean that I have to agree that he's doing what he ought to be doing.

The thing is it's what he is doing that I find objectionable.
