but only because the President doesn't need the political hit that a lost nomination would bring. But she is going to be terrible on the issues I care about (the rights of the accused and the limits of corporate & government power) and would not have been my choice. She's very much like a moderate/conservative Clinton era compromise candidate in a new era when we really didn't need to compromise.
