The 1st question about the Cheney run CIA program was who were the targets

This is the first question that all Americans should be asking. Personally, I believe that Cheney used 9/11 to implement a plan worked out before the election to use the awesome surveillance powers of the NSA and CIA to build dossiers on Democrats, perceived enemies and anyone that occupied strategic positions in business. Using the immense information gathering capabilities of the NSA and CIA Cheney could engage in all sorts of dastardly games. Everything from nailing Elliot Spitzer to the odd enabling behavior of many Democrats in Congress during the Bush years could potentially be the result of Cheney's Heinrich Himmler like ambition to control this country as no other person has in our history.

Americans should demand an answer to this question. There should be no shielding of the answer on grounds of national security as the question pertains solely to determining who were the targets not the means and methods of the surveillance.

It could very well be that Cheney CONTINUES to wield great power behind the scenes with his massive electronic filing cabinet of dossiers on American citizens. There is no reason at all to believe that this information has not been stored for future use by the likes of Cheney. The second question should obviously concern whether Cheney is still capable of using any of the info gleaned over the years that he and his criminal cronies ran amok in Washington.

Cheney is an evill man and completely deserving of the moniker Darth Cheney.

that whatever happened would open the door to increased presidential power. do i think that they knew that planes would be flown into the towers? no, but i think they thought there would be a hijacking with hostages. that's why bush couldn't comprehend the attack. cheney didn't miss a step though.
