Looking at recent events, one can only conclude that this drip drip drip against Bush Co...
Has been organized by Someone in order to slowly put distance between Bush and Obama.

Look at Obama's above the fray stance while all this stuff keeps leaking out; drip, drip, drip,

Holder is not saying he is considering criminal investigation and is claiming he is acting on his own...

The explanation is easy; control...

Control the information, control the process, control the urge to punish.

The people are starting to see that is is impossible for the country to remain viable if we let the criminals go free.

Drip, drip, drip...

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Will justice be served?

Drip, drip, drip...

1. I kind of predicted this to my friends...
"Why ain't he going after Bush and Cheney?"

Because...

The truth my friends, is going to set us all free.

DRIP, DRIP, DRIP...

Indeed.

5. "The truth is going to set us all free...?" Really?
In that case, I'm afraid you'll never come close to hearing it. Last thing a wage- and debt-slave corporatist state wants is a population of proles and peasants drunk on delusions of their own impending emancipation.

4. it better be. It MUST be.
we have a lot to answer for as a country. Every time I think of those Iraqi civilians with 3rd degree burns or shot do death at checkpoints so the U.S. CheneyFucks could grab Iraqi oil....I boil.

6. *IF* action is taken against the shrubbies it is best for obama to appear reluctant to go after them
whether it is best for the country, that's another question.

what is clear is that if it appears that obama is out for revenge and worse, if it can be painted as political rather than legal revenge, then obama SERIOUSLY loses if there is no conviction and probably loses anyway even if there eventually is a conviction. regardless, a conviction would be good for the country in the long run, but obama can't stomach the risk and harm to his political agenda. this is a clear corruption of justice, or a prosecutorial conflict of interest, but that's the way our system works.

the only way out is to divorce criminal investigations of prior administrations from the political elements of the current administration. i.e., a completely independent department, with prosecutorial decisions outside the discretion of the president. not clear how that can happen, constitutionally or politically.

in any event, if obama gets his agenda through and the prosecutions appear to happen despite him, that works; alternatively, if they don't happen until his second term, that works too, though that's too much freedom for the guilty as far as i'm concerned.

7. First I recommended this, and before I go back on my knees to pray, here is what I pray for:
I am praying for my President to be every bit as smart and crafty as this implies he might be.

I hope we are really dealing with Obama allowing it to simply collapse under its own weight and therefore he will not be assailable for bringing about the justice this country needs in order to heal from the rule of the thugs.
He can sit back and watch, rather than orchestrate.

And that will get him 4 more years.

9. The drip, drip, drip may be calculated to numb us to the message too
So that no one is ever held accountable - still a very good possibility.

10. I believe
Who would have thought after 8 years of the divisiveness of this last administration in which an active campaign was made to target opposition; that their party would go to resounding defeat against a "newcomer." Who would have thought that Sarah Palin, who was so glib in the rhetoric of spin, would be resigning from office halfway through her first term. Who would have thought that we would be able to pull out of all Iraq cities less than 6 months after the election of a new president. I believe that change is coming, I believe in the day will come that Don Siegelman will have all charges dropped against him. I believe that others like Paul Minor will also see that day. I believe that one day we will have a country with malice towards none and justice for all. I believe.
