'Liberal Media Bias' and Freepers.

After reading this: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/7/12/752577/-Freepers-are-mad-as-hell...and-final-update. I can't help but laugh a bit more at the freepers (I know, endless jokes can be made of morons), but seriously they just don't get it. They're complaining that a member of the media has a liberal bias, because he posts at dKos. Sure, he might be a liberal, but the story behind his article was an honest report on their very own racist words and actions targeted toward a child. Furthermore, they're trying to say this horrible liberal media bias is unfair toward them (again laughing given the context of what's really going on here). But it comes down to this...

Do they honestly expect legitimate reporters to support a gang of child-hating racists?

I mean they don't even try to hide it. Not on their website, and not in who they elect. Even as recently as this weekend, they elected yet another racist to represent them.

1. They are too stupid to realize

that if the mods there had locked the thread the first time around, this wouldn't be news. It made news because the thread was locked and then was brought back, which implies that the mods there condone the racist rantings of the posters.

2. Bigots don't see their views as an aberration.

For them, it's a self-evident truth that the qualities & behavior of the targets of their bigotry actually supports their misconceptions about them.
