This latest story about the incredibly racist, hateful remarks on FR about Obama's children seems to have legs in the MSM. A few more stories like that, and at least the thinking public will be aware of the nature of the FR cesspool.

The remarks made on FR about Malia are so much worse than the imaginary "attacks" on Palin's kids that the wingnuts and Palinbots constantly sob and whine about. When has Piper Palin been attacked? (I don't even know if he/she is a boy or a girl!) What about Track? (And Field?) And that tree one, Oak or Willow or whatever it is? The fact is, Palin's kids have not been "attacked", but now Obama's kids sure have.

A 6-second joke on TV in the middle of the night mentioning 18-year-old Bristol is not an "attack". Calling 11-year-old Malia "ghetto trash" on the Internet for wearing a peace T-shirt most certainly is. People with brains realize this. On FR, not so much.

and I haven't been there for weeks, I really don't need to see all the rationalizing over Mark Sanford's affair, they don't seem to have a recommend feature in the first place.

All the kerfuffle over the unrec feature comes from people having a new option that they really don't know how to use yet. We dealt with 'recommend' nicely after some time, and now Skinner comes along and gives us a new toy to play with, and we have people fretting about it's misuse, even though it won't really amount to a hill of beans in the end.
