Actual questions on a Zogby poll:
Edited on Mon Jul-13-09 05:40 AM by liberal N proud
Representative Sheila Jackson Lee has proposed a resolution honoring the late singer Michael Jackson as a "global humanitarian and a noted leader in the fight against worldwide hunger and medical crises" and celebrating him as an "accomplished contributor to the worlds of arts and entertainment.". House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has blocked this effort, saying that Michael was "a great performer," but "A resolution, I think, would open up to contrary views that are not necessary at this time." Do you agree or disagree that congress should issue a proclamation?

Agree, there should be a proclamation
Disagree, there should not be a proclamation
Not sure

Representative Sheila Jackson Lee and supporters of Michael Jackson cite his accomplishments as a humanitarian and artist, saying these should be his legacy. Representative Peter T. King has said that Jackson "… was a pervert, a child molester, he was a pedophile." Which do you believe should be Jackson's lasting legacy?

His accomplishments as a humanitarian
His alleged history as a child molester
Both of them
Neither of them
Not sure

I swear, no matter how hard you try you can not escape the circus.

1. For once, Zogby seems to have offered facts to vote on.
In the overall scheme of things, it does not matter HOW he is remembered.. His family and his fans will love rhim forever, and the rest will relegate him to history, and still enjoy the music.

4. Beginning right after the election, his polls seemed to all become poisonous push polls...
with equally inflammatory phrasing, although the last one I ever opened was about the President. It was astonishing. One day I'm getting polls abt silverware settings, the next it's 'is Obama a terrorist sympathizer'. The guy must be awfully desperate right now, either because he's a RW hack and Obama's the President or he has money troubles.

Love or hate (or not care about) Jackson, he's now dead as is Lee's proposal. Who is he even doing this for? Someone who wants to run against her in '10?

I wish Peter King just could get dumped. We get to hear his 'pithy' horseshit in NYC because local news covers Long Island, usually ranting about terrorists.
