1. Yes... I was just posting this on another thread....Insufferable |
|
And, I though Scummy Joe was the reason not to watch Morning Schmo in the am.... I really don't care to watch her give blow jobs to every RWer (and every RW theory) on tv.

12. It's beyond my understanding as well |
|
I'm on vacation this week, so I usually don't see the plethora of 'Morning Joe' threads, but on days when I'm not at work, they're like a rash on the 'latest' page. A good portion of them have interchangeable titles, such as this one, that could work on any given day.
I guess it's just a fact of life at DU: whenever a RW pundit farts, everyone at DU knows exactly how it smelt five minutes later.

9. Chuck Todd was in on it this morning also. |
|
I tuned in for 5 minutes (checking out MSNBC in HD) and, along with Pat Buchanan, they were putting forth RW talking points about how the Cheney/CIA plan was not fully developed, so they didn't have to tell Congress and how, if they investigate this, the CIA will say they had Justice approval, then that, leads to the Bush WH (like somehow that's not a good approach). Total nonsense but they all agreed, no contrary voice at all.

|
she is so upset about levi saying palin is leaving for the money, she said she'll "hold her tongue and just sit there and sweat." pat buchannan thinks the first dude should take levi to a creek and hold his head under water til he stops talking to the press.
Where is scab today? Trying to get his wife not to leave him?

13. Did you notice this? At first, Mika said she had talked to A |
|
former CIA contact yesterday. Later, she said she had talked to CIA contactS yesterday. She went from singular to plural, but referenced "yesterday" both times. So, which is it, Mika? How many sources (unnamed, of course) did you have? Plus, she said that her source (OR sourceS...) effectively debunked the NYT article. Really? Your ONE source was able to debunk the NYT article? Now, that's journalism. Mika's one (or more or none at all) source debunked the NYT article. Wow. I have no idea how she knows this. But, then, I have no idea how Mika knows anything. She's from the Stephen Colbert "I know it in my gut" school of journalism. This woman simply does not deal in facts or specifics. EVER. Again, this is why she loves Palin. They're twin sisters of different mothers.

14. Her father is so meticulous in his argumentation. He would NEVER use the "some say" |
|
routine. It's a wonder she does it, given what must have been high standards in her family household while she was growing up.
At this point, she and the show is all entertainment. They make stuff up because it is "better" that way. Icky facts just get in the way. Why work hard at finding the truth when you can just throw around the "some say" and get away with it?

15. You know, i've had the same thoughts about her father. |
|
He IS meticulous in his speech. He always gives a frame of reference. He cites specifics. And he doesn't prattle; he's always to the point. I'm sure Mika went to "good" schools. Yet, she seems lacking in knowledge.

19. It seems that even families like her's can produce an underachiever, no |
|
matter how hard the family tries to give them the best education and support. I mean the Kennedys produced Maria Shriver, another dumb bimbo posing as a journalist. if I ever saw one. Mika must have used her for a role model. Also, I wonder how many journalism graduates of the caliber of Amy Goodman didn't get the plumb jobs because of this kind of legacy hiring by family name in the media?

20. Just goes to show that even in a field like journalism, which |

you would think would be less vulnerable to nepotism, you still get the less than stellar offspring. I'm talking about you, Chris Wallace. (Yikes. Does this means we have a rash of Hannity, O'Reilly twits in our future?)
