2. I don't think this comment was helpful. The R's know they can't lay a glove on her for a lot

reasons. First, she's replacing a liberal justice, so it doesn't change the composition of the court.

Second, the R's are so anxious to get Latin voters on their team, they won't touch her.

This confirmation is going to be a breeze, so, in that context, I don't think Leahy's comments were necessary or useful, and I love Pat.
