Cheney Daughter Looking to Run

Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, told the Washington Times that "running for political office is on her horizon."

Said Cheney: "It's something I very well may do."

However, Cheney said "that her immediate interests are raising her five children and helping her father write his memoirs."

We'll she's got all thr right credentials for the base to love; she's got 5 kids and her last name is Cheney. That in and of itself should take her far. Of course she'll have to pick some heavily Republican district. She won't be able to wander into my neck of the woods and run against Barbara Lee.

4. I'm not surprised. Liz Cheney recently got the 2009 Leadership Award

from the Clare Booth Luce Policy Institute. They "groom" women to run for public office, provided they're conservative.
