There's a subtext to it that's really ugly. She's being attacked not only on her ethnicity but also on her gender by the puke senators. She's too emotional is a consistent subtext to the remarks so far. But the repukes aren't only focused on slamming Sotomayor to the best of their abilities, they're also determined to try and inflict damage on Obama.
It's only day 1. it'll get really ugly starting tomorrow.

...I also was getting a VERY strong underlying agenda of the MALE RE Repukes ~~ women should not be on the highest bench.
I thought maybe I was just over sensitive because I am a female atty ~~ but the more I listen, the more it is clearly their opinion: Women think with their ovaries.
