11. Yeah, but he could comb his hair.
My mom's 80 years old, but she still makes an effort to look nice and she's an old hippie too.

6. Speaking as an old Led Zep fan, he looks very different.
Glad he got the honor, all the same.

14. LOL Have you seen
Jimmy Page lately?

Yeah, it sucks, but all things must come to pass.

Achilles' Last Stand was my favorite Zep tune.

15. No. Haven't seen pictures of Page in ages.
I swear, I did serious damage to my ears with Achilles Last Stand. :)

13. I thought he'd be taller.........
Charles's two sons are both a head taller than he is, so Robert must be shrinking with age as well.

16. Plant was one of those rare tall rock stars (6' or 6' 1")...
he must be bending over somewhat

22. I agree... I have long hair too and out of respect, when I go to something fancy
I tie it back. It seems like he's trying to make some kind of statement by having it all messy. Geesh.

18. Plant is awesome...
Jesus, people, his hair is that way because his fucking hair is that way. He looks old because he was 20 when he was a lion maned stud muffin, and he is an old man now and he's earned every wrinkle and every grey hair. Just wait until you have a similar image staring back at you from the mirror. I would hazard to guess what you see will scare the bejesus out of you if this is how you react to Plant's natural aging. He can wear his hair however he wants... he's hardly what you could call a conformist. Thankfully, no one gives a flying rat's ass what someone else thinks of the honor.

GAWD I'm sick of people.

19. Also, isn't Charles standing on a platform?
I'm happy for RP, since it is an important honor for so many British folks. :-)

And for a what, nearly 70 year old, he's doing pretty darned good.

25. Whodathought?
Someone who lived such a hard rockin' life for so long surely sees anything beyond 50 as a blessing! He left an indelible mark on the rock and on the roll... he deserves kudos and respect.

20. Yeah he's old now
But he can still sing better than most of DU combined and has co-written music that will outlive us.

And for an older guy, he's damn good looking. I'd still do him.
