now quoting Toobin on the CJ and his record to date. Saying that the right wing justices have a striking record of ignoring precedence- knocking them on everything from heller to Ledbetter. Mocking Roberts claim to be an umpire. the Roberts court is neither humble or modest.

|
I love the way he described the term "activist judge" as a political code word to try to obtain a specific desired result. And he demolished Justice Roberts by pointing out that he always sides with the corporation over the individual, the government over the accused, etc. In fact, it got under the skin of the Reshit Coburn who followed him when the latter said that this wasn't a hearing about Justifice Roberts. I loved it! Whitehouse has become one of my new heroes.

It's about time someone said it. The most egregious case of judicial activism was the installing of George W Bush as president in 1999. The right has some nerve complaining about judicial activism. They have gotten everything they asked for 8 years because of their judges' practice of it. And they have destroyed this country because of it.
It's about time a true Democratic Senator said so.

See you there. Tomorrow the questions start. I think the Senators get 30 minutes each to ask their questions and get them answered. Questions tomorrow should be in the same order as today went. Questioning will most likely go into Thursday. After the first round of questions, there may be a 2nd round for those who want more time.
