By now it is an established "take" on the matter that PALIN is ignorant and not VP or Prez or national-stage material. Forget "not prepared" because that implies she would SOME DAY, somehow be READY for those roles. Her "William" Billy KRISTOL sponsors prod her ever so gently, making it sound that by taking some time off and "studying up" a few books, she will then be ready.

She never will be. But that doesn't mean that the American public that adored RAYGUN and Shrub wouldn't get her installed into office anyway, by some means.

So everybody agrees that she is a fuck-up, even her wader-supporters/suspenders. So WHO is it who wants to keep her around?!1 Media item after item on, what did she mean, what is her plan, where will she go, when will she be back?!1

She fucked up ------SO--------GET OUT!1 GET LOST!1

When the NYT article below first ran early this A.M., the headline then made it sound like this was a deep investigative piece that, well didn't FORETELL, but pieced together the signs that made her resignation inevitable. When you read it, it turns out to be just another re-hash of her activities, nothing more: She was picked; the Speech (that somebody else wrote); she said this; she didn't know how to answer that, etc., etc. Nothing prescient. (Am not even taking the time to excerpt the re-hash here.)

So, the questions: Why doesn't she JUST GO AWAY?!1 And why won't (the media? who else?) JUST LET her go away?!1

As much as the Rethugs complain about "unqualified" Affirmative Action types, why are they making an exception for her?!1

1. The media are the only ones keeping Palin alive

I think the GOP wishes she would go away since she makes them look like idiots. The only reason the crowds were so large for her campaign stops is that people wanted to be a part of history - to see the first woman GOP VP candidate. McCain was an ass for picking her.

2. Yes it is the media that keeps her in the news....she has a very
tiny base that she plays to and the media makes her a star....
