2. But we have to stay ahead of other nations!
I certainly do not wish us as a nation to be anything but number one in weaponized chimera tech!

4. You know she didn't bother to check first to see if her resignation would cause any inconvenience.
Here's the rub; Governor Palin aborting her term will end up costing Alaskans more than all of the non-Palin ethics complaints combined. Former legislators I spoke with estimated this session would cost somewhere north of $150,000. $150,000 just to sort out her mess! Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers I've talked to see this "July Surprise" as an expensive constitutional train wreck. Most are projecting the session needing at least a few days. (emphasis added)

She had no clue how this might affect anyone other than herself, no clue that you can't just up and quit an elected job like this without taking legal procedures into account.

6. I'm still trying to remember
any other governor who has done this - quit in the middle of a term for no apparent reason. She claimed there were so many others...

She's a Valley Girl, fer sure, fer sure
Last idea to cross her mind
Had something to do with where to find
A pair of jeans to fit her butt

5. Not only is it hard to
follow her when she tries to say something, it is equally difficult to follow the twists and turns of the damages she has wrecked.
