1. My #1 would be Sarah Palin disrespects community organizing. |
|
I said some very not nice things at the TV that night.

8. In a lot of ways, the Couric interview was the "deal breaker" for Palin... |
|
...it was the first "negative" that really had deep hooks, and she never recovered from it. I'm not the world's biggest Couric fan, but she deserves credit for that one.

9. For a normal politician, those would have been softballs |
|
Hell, I could come up with answers to those off the top of my head... even bullshit answers.
"I think the Supreme Court should be in the business of furthering rights, not denying them, so any of the numerous rulings that were used to deny African-Americans and other minorities rights would be my least favorite rulings. As vice president, I will support nominees who are interested in granting rights to all Americans, regardless of status."
"First of all, as governor of Alaska, I usually start my day by looking at Alaskan papers such as the Anchorage Daily News, the Juneau Empire, and the Fairbanks News Miner, among others. Since my schedule is busy, I can't claim to read EVERYTHING in them, but I usually look at the different news articles and the op-ed pages to get a sense of what is going on in different parts of the state. I might also look at some lower 48 newspapers, but since I am the governor of Alaska and my time is precious, I usually have a staffer go through those and bring items to my attention. Finally, since I travel a lot, I find plane travel a good time to read news magazines such as Time, the National Review, and a few others."
There. Those would be perfectly decent answers for a candidate to give. :)
But NO answers? FAIL.

11. Sarah Can't name a magazine or newspaper she reads was my choice |
|
I don't think I ever made it past the "all of them!" part of her answer. It reminded me of elementary school where one kid didn't finish his presentation, and you know that he probably made it all up 5 minutes before class started. Incredibly hard to watch.
