5. Actually I think Palin realized she was in over her head

For all her bluster, I believe it became apparent to her that the longer she remained in office, the more apparent it would become that she lacked any semblance of managerial or executive ability and she would simply continue to embarrass herself to the point of reducing herself to a national joke. I think she wised up to the fact that if she wanted to preserve one iota of dignity, she had to get the hell out of office quick or she would lose even the possibility of cashing in on her fifteen minutes of notoriety.

If she stayed in office, something very unseemly would have occurred with the end result of diminishing her national stature irreparably. The only chance she had to maintain the facade was to get out with some shred of pride intact.

Although Levi may not realize it, he's correct.

foreign policy, etc. Just about her. He did live in the house with them and travel with her and the family. He probably has seen her blow her top over nothing. He doesn't have the qualifications to diagnose her (leave that to DUers who've never met her), but he may have an interesting opinion of her based on his personal experience.

We get it: you think the kid's an idiot, and you resent him being treated like a real person instead of the circus act you think he is. However, his opinion of Palin is just as valid as that of anyone else who knows her.

For the record, I'm not particularly interested in what he's got to say either, although I'll admit I'd love to get him in the sack...preferably gagged.

Also, for the record, I did NOT unrec this thread; indeed, after trying it out on a couple of threads just to see what the fuss was about, I stopped using it, and don't plan to in the future. Not because I find it particularly objectionable, but because I find it particularly pointless.
