People seem to be taking his comments today to reflect that the Sotomayor nomination is a done deal. And While I'm sure it is I think its good to remember that Lindsey was at one time considered to be the most reasonable among the House Judiciary folks during the Clinton Impeachment mess. That is how he made his name. By the end little Lindsey was the most vocal in calling for a Presidential Coup d'etat. That is his MO. So when he said today that Sotomaor would have to fall on her face not to get the confirmation of the Senate. That might well have been his way - in a few days time of setting the stage for the claim that she fell on her face. I don't trust that little worm any farther than I could throw him.
