I am livid. This "torture investigation" is looking like yet another dog and pony show. In the end, nobody will be prosecuted, the Bush administration will get away of it, and torture will have been deemed to be legal in America, Obama's "ban" notwithstanding.
What the fuck is Holder trying to do to America with this half-assed investigation?

"I was just following orders" is now a legitimate defense. If so, Nuremberg is dead, torture is legal, and we cannot trust our government to intervene on behalf of our rights.

The one where he specifically ordered the CIA not to inform Congress of a secret program that may very well be an assassination squad. Doesn't matter how secret a program is - Congress is legally obligated to know about it, according to the National Security Act of 1947.

...but the Obama administration's track record so far leaves much to be desired. Prosecution of those responsible for the torture program is an absolute must in order for America to heal and move forward. You don't have to be Madame Zola hovering over a crystal ball in order to see that.
