2. Seems fair (NOT). If this is what we end up with, I will fight tooth and
nail to defeat all Senatorial politicians that supported this approach. I will do it because it is not a bill designed to contain cost.

3. It probably will contain costs a bit
But it probably wont spread costs to make it affordable to all. Thats the real downfall

4. Not letting one become law (somehow) would be the BEST way to handle it
Mandated health insurance was a significant factor for me in preferring Obama over Hillary in the primaries. I don't believe that people should HAVE to purchase health insurance, particularly when, like in the case of Massachusetts, there are apparently no guarantees whatsoever that people are going to be able to afford any of the plans offered and I certainly don't want to see people forced into buying junk insurance- that makes the insurance companies richer and shows that you have *coverage* but doesn't really benefit you at all.

5. It's a mockery of reform IMO.
It also lets me know as a citizen that I stand behind corporations and their profits to the representative.

6. This sounds like it would just make a broken system
more widespread. Virtually everybody would be caught up in it with no way to opt out.

I thought the whole idea of health care reform was that we would do something different.

8. Anything significantly different isn't "uniquely American"
And, we sorta like the death-or-bankruptcy-by-profit American model too much to toss it.

... and weather that would leave enough of a loophole to include others.
