The right is shifting its Sotomayor strategy, I think |

Based on my monitoring of talk radio, I have seen a shift in the attacks against Sotomayor. Instead of "she's stupid and unqualified," the criticism has turned to "she's a very, very smart lawyer who is using her big-city education and fancy words to hide her secret communist agenda."
In a screwed up way, I think that's progress.

1. It's clear they thought she was stupid and could be pushed around... |
|
That says volumes about their racism and sexism, doesn't it?

3. If indoubt, Republicans fall back on anti-intellectualism and paranoia |

It's probably a sign they know they won't be able to block the vote, so they're using it as an a opportunity for scaring their base, to squeeze a few more donations out of the gullible.

4. I see it too, and it's pretty much waht they did with Obama. Let's hope that tactic |
|
is just as wildly successful this time.
