Didn't your Mama raise you better than this? You sounded like a baby who had just gotten over the colic. You know better than to act out and not be mannerly. You can get your point across and be polite as well. My stars! I thought you were going to have the vapors you were so het up.

I know you were raised right, but you've been around that McCain person too long. He has the disposition of a snapping turtle. Do you know that most people probably didn't hear a thing you said? All they heard was an ill-tempered middle aged man having a fit about something. Mercy son, you didn't even give her a chance to respond.

This also doesn't have a thing to do with her being a woman. You should have respect for people even if you don't agree with their opinions. You were talking to her like she stole something. When you said someone called her a bully, I about fell off the bed. You were the bully.

Now Lindsey, bless your heart. I know it has been a trying time with your friend Mark going to Argentina and not even telling you. Then Jenny called and probably talked to you about the contents of your closet. I just think you need to rest for a spell.

5. I just heard a panel on NPR discuss this after a tape of LG was played

and at least two of them tried to maintain that LG was simply trying to ask her questions and give her a chance to respond. I wanted to reach through the speakers and slap them upside the haid.

I notice a rudeness difference even in driving habits between VA drivers and those from the District and MD. Obviously that's not true in 100% of the cases, but it's noticeable.

As you said, he could have accomplished his objectives far more successfully if he had been more charming. I think he was trying to provoke a reaction (one of the NPR panelists thought so too) but she was obviously prepared for this and didn't take the bait. He just came across as a rude boor, and she came across as much brighter and more professional than he.
