Animal-Human Hybrid legislation proposed

Sen. Brownback & 19 co-sponsors to the rescue (including one Democrat). WTF, I didn't know we had a problem with animal-Human hybrids requiring congressional action. This bill was discussed with deserved derision on Olbermann's MSNBC show tonight. Link to co-sponsors list below. The usual suspects plus Landreau.

There has been entirely too much DNA/gene manipulation going on by agri-business. Just Google "Monsanto DNA Kauai"

While it may be a ways off before someone comes up with some bright idea to combine the DNA of a human and a strawberry, it doesn't mean that it can't or won't happen. THis may sound stupid and too sci-fi ish but I still think there is the potential for misuse of science and technology in this area.
