Right Wing Group: Sotomayor Belonged To Terrorist Group!
That's right, guys - keep going back to that well.

"A TV ad by the right-wing Committee for Justice claims that Judge Sonia Sotomayor “led a group supporting violent Puerto Rican terrorists.” The ad also links Sotomayor to “Obama’s buddy Bill Ayres, the unrepentant terrorist who bombed American buildings in the seventies.” Watch:"

1. They don't get it that
this kind of busllshit is what turned so many moderate voters away from them in 2008. All this does is make them appear stupid. Actually, I think it sort of validates their stupidity.

Keep it up and keep losing elections.

2. Are they TRYING to lose the Hispanic vote for the next 30 years?
The Republican Party is becoming more and more the party of ignorant white people who feel aggrieved because their notion of racial superiority is falling apart. They seem determined to hold on to the 20% dead-enders at the expense of everything else.

3. Boy that Bill Ayers guy was like Pol Pot, Hitler, Osama, and Saddam
combined, wasn't he? Also he has secret wizard powers to control the Illuminati cells all over the United States that sabotage Republican campaigns and trick right-wingers into doing and saying stupid things.

5. I don't know who they think they are going to pull over with this.
It clearly didn't work last November. One would think that they might want to try a different strategy.

6. Ignorance can be fixed, stupid is forever.
Maybe we should be happy that they are alienating the Latino vote.

9. As little as I liked Lindsey Graham and Jeff Sessions before today I am
astonished by how appallingly they behaved.

Judge Sotomayor will be confirmed, despite the racist temper-tantrums of Republican Senators.

There must certainly be a significant number of Hispanic voters tuned in to these hearings and behold, they hear two Republican Senators race-baiting the first Hispanic woman ever nominated to the Supreme Court.

My guess is that those voters are going to be left with the impression that Republicans appear to be racist thugs. My guess also is that they are going to be keeping these hearings in mind when they vote in 2010 and 2012.

If the GOP won't clean up its act, they'll start fading from the scene even more than they've faded now.

16. We laugh but there are those who will believe these lies. Sadly.
I know someone in particular who will probably be all worked up in a tizzy over it tomorrow. It's as if there's no rational thought between the ears.
