And Howie Kurtz thought Marcy Wheeler's blowjob reference was bad...
I was coming home from a county Dems meeting tonight, listening to "Clout" on Air America. Richard Green had Noah Wylie on the show talking about various things -- his new show on TNT, Cheney, etc. The talk turned to Ensign and Noah said something like "I really don't care what he does in his personal life. I don't care if he f**ks..." Uh oh -- methinks the AAR is going to be in trouble with the FCC for that one. As soon as he said it, Richard said something to someone, probably his engineer -- "Did you get it?" Well, the 7-second delay missed it and it went out loud and clear on the air.

2. Probably not too many people heard it
Least of all, Howie Kurtz.

4. well, according to Repugniconvicts, nobody listens to Air America Radio
and thus, nobody heard it ...

now wait for them to contradict themselves in saying how many people were offended by it ...

5. Shit Happens...Literally...
In a past life I worked talk radio...and flew without a net...the station owner couldn't afford a delay so the calls went on live. I developed a pretty good trigger finger and had a sixth sense when someone was gonna try to "baba boooie" me. These days most stations have delays, but they come with a peril...the ability to use it. When someone comes out of nowhere, the first reaction is to think to yourself "did he/she say that?" then "what do I do"...I've seen many a "veteran" freeze when they're caught by surprise...and ooops...Shit happens. This is double the case when its a guest or someone in the studio who lets loose.

I'll reserve my usual disdain for Whorie Kurtz...let's see if he makes a big stink about this one Sunday. Marcy has two ingredients Whorie just loves to pounce on...liberal and a blogger.
