Can you imagine Cheney's daughter, Liz, being a more attractive candidate than Palin? |
|
Daughter of Darth has made it be known that she is interested in elective office.
I find her one of those people who, upon simply being seen, makes my blood boil.
Palin is another one.
Can anyone imagine Cheney to be a more attractive candidate than Palin?

I would imagine she would run for the House or for the Senate as a first step. Depending upon where she lives, sadly she probably could get elected.

3. And why does she have a platform. I watched her yesterday |
|
on some of the posts I found on the internet and couldn't figure out what gives her the aura of expertise. How exactly does one jump from daughter to expert?

Before i even carefully researched Silverspoon George, and knew he was an incompetent know-nothing, i had an automatic and visceral reaction against the son of a president running for the office.
It smacks of entitlement by birth. That bugs me to no end. GAC

6. Oh, I can certainly see her being embraced by the base... |
|
Who will look past their disdain for a woman (and not even a MILF, unlike Palin), since she's the spawn of Cheney--their ultimate authoritarian hero.

she is by far more intelligent than sarah - albeit grossly misguided.
She takes on most D's showing a spine we seem to lack.
Would like to see her go up against Begala or O'Donnell. She would be crushed - imo. But she is articulate.
I think she will be force to be reckoned with in 2012. Already getting lots of face time - and getting her message out.
(oops - dyslexic moment)

9. The real question to ask is |
|
how she would respond o the pressures of a campaign. As it is now, she gets to go out and make the rounds of the talk shows in a very safe way. She's not being asked a lot of rude questions by gangs of reporters, she's not having a lot of media scrutiny of her personal life.
The underlying reason that Palin resigned is that she couldn't deal with the media scrutiny. She'd spent her life in Alaska (with a few short ventures outside to attend second-rate colleges) and had no clue how the political process actually worked in the rest of the country. She truly wasn't ready for prime time.
Same with Liz Cheney. She's reasonably competent doing what she's currently doing, because she's not facing any real job-performance criteria. She's been handed her little spokesperson job on a silver platter, and performs adequately in the safe venues she visits. If she runs for office, any office, it will be totally different.

10. Her father is the most despised |
|
Vice President in the history of the United States and as time goes by and the truth be known his reputation will get even worse. The press loves her but why wouldn't the press be attracted to the daughter of a monster. It is fascinating stuff. Politically she isn't going anywhere. IMHO

11. Why don't we just get her a bunker NOW so she'll get her ignorance off the TV. |
|
Just tell her she needs to practice living in a bunker and then have one of her minions deliver a note with her boiled newt intestines that she won some important political office and needs to STAY in the bunker. You don't have to tell her that the office is County Weedwhacker Inspector.
