What has Dick Cheney told Liz Cheney about his role in CIA controversy? Morning Joe didn't ask
http://mediamatters.org/research/200907140045

SUMMARY: Liz Cheney repeatedly defended her father on Morning Joe, but at no point was she asked to explain what conversations she's had with Dick Cheney about CIA practices and policies during the Bush administration, or whether her father provided her with classified information.

1. I do believe that Liz was a part of of whatever Dick planned. She worked for the State Department,
didn't she?

2. That's been my question all along....what did he tell her.
If working for the state dept means she was in on all the classified info, then way too many people know and nothing is really classified. If it is only the top peeps are briefed then what did daddy tell her, what classified info did he leak to her, and why would she go on tv constantly telling the world just exactly what her daddy meant and did.

3. MJ fails to ask Liz many questions. Liz repeatedly gets away
with saying the Bush administration "kept us safe for 8 years." We weren't too safe on 9-11, were we. And it was Liz' father who had been tapped by President Bush, prior to 9-11, to lead the committee to investigate terrorism. Only, Dick was so busy with Ken Lay and over a dozen meetings in the WH concerning "energy", he didn't hold ONE MEETING on anti-terrorism. Not exactly keeping us safe. Yet, Liz is NOT asked about this OR about Valerie Plame. The MJ folks are not journalists. They're hosts and hostesses. They're Vanna White turning letters over.

4. Maybe good?
I have to say it is nice to see a woman making some inroads into the black-ops/power behind the government/secret hit squad field. Feminism in action. :sarcasm:

5. Unless she was properly cleared and had a need to know,
Cheney should not have told her anything about it. That's the law. It's very simple.
