1. I think they are going to be surprised and disappointed.

When I needed to do some home improvement, I saw the fish on a couple of ads in the Yellow Pages. Not being above a bit of hypocrisy myself, I thought I would call these people with the expectation that anyone advertising as a capital letters CHRISTIAN would be an honest businessman with a fair price. Boy was I wrong. This is not to say that all Christian or CHRISTIAN businessmen aren't honest or fair, simply that I found nothing superior in their presentation or price.

I've seen my share of hucksters who will prey on a specific group...both right and left. While I prefer to do business with companies that support Democrats and liberal/progressive causes, it still pays to do due dilligence.

I'd be inclined to believe that a swastika tattoo was an unfortunate artifact of a misguided youth if the price for the driveway was $2000 less.

But seriously, I have worked with a lot of contractors who we here might collectively consider the enemy and there is a strange sort of tolerance amongst many of these people. It's kind of like having a neighbor who is a rabid Republican, but you and he are the only two people on the block who can call each other for help in a pinch.

One of the biggest crocks out there was "Jesus Is Lord Auto Sales". They racked up complaints like there was no tomorrow.
