1. Here's the latest:

Michael Jackson: the toxicology and tissue reports will be issued late this week or early next week, and it will start up all over again;

Farrah Fawcett: her best friend, Alana Hamilton, kept a diary during Farrah's illness, and she'll be putting it out in book form in early August, so that should get poor Farrah a bit more of the acclaim she so sorely deserved - and part of the proceeds from sales will go to Farrah's cancer charity;

Sarah Palin: she is herpes incarnate - enough said?

Mark Sanford: that situation is so fraught with tension, something's got to give - we're not finished hearing about this one, and I expect a big explosion, popcorn-worthy;
